The Kings Gospel
As an Elder in the Free Methodist Church with a deep passion for God and spreading the gospel, I resonate with Elvis Presley's love for studying the gospel and using his musical talent to praise God. Elvis’s nickname as the Seeker King highlights his quest for spiritual enlightenment, a journey that I can relate to as someone dedicated to theological studies and ministry within the church. Through examining Elvis’s questions and expressions of faith, we can uncover valuable insights into his profound love for God and how he shared that through his music.
Blogs will be posted twice a month on the first and third Monday of the month at 3:30pm (est).

Sing it the way Elvis did!
Yet ultimately what we take away from Elvis’ version of the song is the emotion connected with the song. There is power in these words because there is power in the One whom they praise.

ETA 101
Part of the reason Elvis was so legendary was that he knew how to handle a missed lyric, a fumbled cue, and whatever else came up on the stage. Adaptability is key in live performance.

The Impossible Dream

Day ONE
I may not have known what I was getting into that first time I walked onto the stage those years ago, but I'm pleased to have finally come to a place where I too can finally appreciate the fun of this community.
